Karen Romano Young has written and contributed to many books, magazines and computer programs, including The Guinness Book of World Records, National Geographic World, 3-2-1 Contact, Cricket, and the PBS television program Behind the Scenes. Her most recent book is The Ice's Edge: The Story of a Harp Seal Pup. Young lives in Connecticut with her husband, three children, two cats and one dog.
