Expensive but it works better that anything I've tried, June 10, 2010
This review is from: Guinot - Tres Homme - Defatigant Express Yeux - Express Anti-Fatigue Eye Gel - 20ml/.69oz (Health and Beauty)
I'm a regular Joe who isn't motivated to fuss with complicated skin care regimens nor use a bunch of products.
Just a good SPF facial moisturizer is all I use.
As I crossed the big-40, I noticed more lines, darkening, and puffiness around the eyes. I tried many eye care products which seemed to moisturize my eyes OK but didn't do much in the area of lines, puffiness, and darkening.
I came across this product when my older sis from the UK visited me (I live in Los Angeles). She's a spa director by profession and when she saw my eyes, she immediately ordered the Guinot eye cream for me because her UK clients had great results.
I told her not to waste over $40 on a tiny bottle of product. After she returned home to England, the bottle languished in my medicine cabinet for 6 months. When my regular eye cream ran out, I decided to use the Guinot she bought me. It's easy to use and a small bead is sufficient for both eyes. After using the product for a week, I noticed the lines, puffiness, and darkening began to diminish. Long story short, a year later, I'm still using this product because it works very well. And yes, I have to shell out over $40 for a tiny bottle. It actually lasts half a year so it's not too bad over the long haul. If you a guy who's not been able to find a product that works, or been confused by the hundreds of products out there, you might want to try this. Just my $0.02.
