Sorry, but I was quite disappointed in this cd, given the caliber of the performers. I found it pleasantly dull and will most likely trade it in for something else.

THIS RECORDING ECHOES THE PASSION OF THE WORLD'S GREAT GUITARISTS FOR GRAND MUSIC. ONE CAN LISTEN TO THIS RECORDING FOR AN ENTRY INTO THE DREAM WORLD. ALL OF THE GUITARISTS ON THIS RECORDING ARE EXCEPTIONAL. THE JULIAN BREAM AND JOHN WILLIAMS DUETS ARE SUPERB. AS I LISTEN TO THEIR MASTERFUL SELECTIONS, I FEEL AS IF I AM WITHIN THEIR MISTS.THE TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIRED OF EACH PARTNER IN A MUSICAL DUET CAN BE IMPROVED BY DELICATE LISTENING. BREAM AND WILLIAMS DISCOVERED EACH OTHER'S MUSIC AS THEY PERFORMED IN THEIR DUETS.THIS RECORDING'S EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE BELONGS TO BREAM AND WILLIAMS FOR ALBENIZ "BENEATH THE SPANISH PALM TREE". TO DISCOVER THE CLASSICAL GUITAR'S VARIED SONGS, THIS CD IS AN EXCELLENT SYMPHONY. EACH GUITARIST ON THIS RECORDING HAS A JOYFUL SONG.
