Montoya's successor?,

This review is from: Guitar, Extra Dry (Audio CD)
Some of these tracks are so beautiful they bring tears to my eyes. This man is a genius of a guitar player, comparable to Segovia or Montoya. It's a pity that so few people have been exposed to this CD. The melodies are unlike anything I've ever heard, more gutsy than new age music, but with the same ability to relax. The exciting track Ni Bara T'i La is a remarkable composition, with musical effects similar to an imaginary bass, where Diabate makes it sound as if he is playing two guitars.I am so grateful to have discovered this artist.
