The perfect blend between Django Reinhart and Charlie Christian, with a tremendous groove in the rythm section. J.R.Montrose on tenor sax provides the perfect answer to the guitar in incredible melodic lines.

CURRENTLY MY FAVORITE JAZZ GUITAR ALBUM. SOLID,GROOVING SUPPORT FROM A UNIQUE RYTHYM SECTION (WHEN HAVE YOU HEARD THESE GUYS TOGETHER ? EVERY SONG IS A WINNER HERE AND EVERYONE GETS SOLO SPACE.ALBERT HEATH STOKES THE FIRE,JR MONTEROSE PROVIDES HARD SWINGING,MEATY SAX WORK AND HOD O'BRIEN KNITS EVERYTHING TOGETHER.MR.THOMAS SPINS OUT BEAUTIFUL,TUNEFUL AND ALWAYS SWINGING LINES ONE AFTER ANOTHER.
IF YOU DIG JAZZ GUITAR YOU CAN'T BE WITHOUT THIS ONE.
