Love to play pretend guitar ? You will after you play this game. If you're new to this game the combo pack is a great way to start. You will however need to buy a guitar controller to get the full experience. NOTICE to ps3 owners both games will play on the ps3 system, HOWEVER the Guitar Hero 3 Ps3 Guitar controller WON'T work. The standard ps3 bluetooth controller will for some reason. So now i gotta get a ps2 guitar controller and dig my ps2 out of storage. A pair of fun games, now get to practice.

I bought this for my grandkids ages 9, 11, 13 and 16 (boys and girls). They sit and play together for hours! They have great fun (and they learn to love hard rock from the 80's)! I've bought it for my out-of-state grandkids too and they love playing it as well (10 yr old boy and 13 year old girl). It's good for beginners as well as more expert players. As a result of playing this game, three of them are now taking guitar lessons and others have a "real guitar" on their Christmas list. I haven't yet met a kid who didn't love this game. This is money well spent. Buy It!

I originally saw this product available at Wal-Mart around Christmas '07, but all the stores were sold out of it by the time that I got around to wanting it. I received Guitar Hero 3 for Christmas, and liked it so much that I wanted to play the songs on the previous installments of the Guitar Hero franchise. Both games have a nice song selection, however they seem to be a little easier to play than Guitar Hero III's songs. This bundle is a MUST for any Guitar Hero fan. The price for the bundle is also cheaper than buying the games separate.

This is a great way for kids to learn eye hand coordination, and it's also a lot of fun!

This game is very fun and highly addictive. Since it comes as a dual pack it's a great bargain, as well.

Back when these games came out I thought they were awesome but now that Rock Band is out, they're just ok. I hate how the GH series just focuses on new games and not DLC (GHWT) and I also hate how they just focus on super hard songs that most of us can't play. Overall, these games are cool but if you've got a little extra cash, get the new ones... or even better... get Rock Band (RB DLC is the best!)

Excellent family game; fun for everyone young and old

My son and I have been enjoying this game a lot. We can play #2 together on multiplayer, but #1 is single player so we can only play that when one of us is busy. Otherwise this is an extreme amount of fun!

Great deal to find it 2 games in one. The price couldn't be beat. Such a fun game that it seemed to have walked out on its own and I had to replace it.
