Greg Koch is becoming one of my favorite "self paced" guitar instructors. His voracious vocabulary of coolisms bring passion and humor to the instruction process.

Beyond that - I really like the way this video was shot and edited to provide views of both hands and online tab /standard notation.

Overall, I like content of the DVD -- its a great collection of licks to pick up that will help you explore various styles but especially blues with a little rock and a little jazz.I haven't gotten through all of it yet, but I've had a lot of fun with this DVD and even after a couple days have internalized a few licks I've heard a million times but never tried to play. great stuff. And if your ear and brain are paying attention, you'll probably find a few where you go...hey I didn't know (fill in the performer) was playing that lick that he took from (fill in the performer on the dvd!)

If there was one thing they could add that would be helpful, it would be an URL to download notation/tab for the DVD. Yes, its on the screen -- sometimes it nice to have the paper copy too. For instance I went to the beach with a guitar....didn't have a dvd player but did have some written music....could have been working on more licks!

Greg is the hands down the best guitar instructor of these guitar styles. A must have for all serious players.
