5.0 out of 5 stars Really cool
If you're interested in voice-leading but you don't know where to start, this is an excellent to book in order to play chords with a sense of melody. It's really well structured. I'm learning lots from it.!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not my cup of tea
The book is nothing more than a class room primer.
Some chord forms are illustrated, but unless you can read music, you can't really do anything with
the forms given, and If you can read music, you probably don't need this book, and if you can read music, you won't want to play these lame songs.
there are 10 photos of someone (I assume it is Mel Bay)...

there are 10 photos of someone (I assume it is Mel Bay) showing proper finger position on the fretboard. The operative word here is PROPER, as, if you look closely, there is no way he is pressing on some of the strings shown
on the actual chord form graphic but I assume he is doing this to show proper hand/finger position even if it
does not really get the job done.
Books like this P..s me off, as I already have to many of them taking up space!
