Beautiful selection, great musicianship,

Steve Novacek's performances of the pieces on this CD are the best you'll find. He plays them with warmth and technical brilliance. The Romance Criollo is one of my favorite pieces by Jorge Morel - a real masterpiece of modern counterpoint.Noguiera's "Choro Chorado" is another beautiful piece. I heard Steve play it as an encore in concert once - it was enthralling. I highly recommend this CD as one of the best recordings I've ever heard.
