I have owned Gibsons and Fender guitars years ago, I wanted a cheap guitar just to teach myself how to read music. I was very surprise with the SX Vintage Series. The body fell solded the neck is smooth with good action, Iam very pleased with the hold pak amp, turner, DVD and the strap will not let your axe slip away from your shouder for the money you can't go wrong.

She shouldn't have put a 1-star review without actually reviewing it! The guitar works and sounds great however the amp is a little more quiet than I would have hoped for. The color of the guitar is exactly the same to Nintendo's Crimson DS Lite. It is a beautiful (slightly) sparkly crimson. It gives the guitar some character. The gig bag is decent just don't throw it around expecting the guitar to be fine. It will protect it from outside but nothing with gravity. The tuner works A-OK. I didn't watch the DVD yet but I'm sure its useless. The strap is strangely sturdy and i would trust my life to it.

Not a bad purchase at all. I bought for my son for Christmas and he is slowly learning the art of Playing the guitar. At first we had a hard time keeping it in tune but I think that's normal with a brand new guitar. Lately it's been staying in tune. I would recommend this item to anyone just starting out.

I'd just bought a Fender Strat Mini for the son. I got this for me to learn with him. This has everything. Guitar, Amp, Tuner, all cords, a guitar strap, picks, and a case. Even an instructional disk thing. For $115.00 you can't beat it. It's better quality than the real Fender Strat Mini. The little amp is heavy and isn't a joke. The guitar was even setup fairly well. It's a nice bright red with subtle metal flake in it. I've heard pro guitar players don't like the Peg/Tuners on these, and normally replace them. If you aren't a pro the stock tuners should be fine though.

I bought this guitar for my dad for a Christmas gift. He is just learning to play and wanted an electric to go with the accoustic he already had. This one caught my eye because of the price and all of the extras that come with it.

I was VERY impressed when he opened it. The candy metallic finish on the guitar is beautiful. It looks like a MUCH more expensive instrument. More importantly, my dad was thrilled. He's very happy with the sound quality and overall feel of the guitar. I would definitly recommend this product.

It brings everything to get started, even the lessons on the CD are very cool and it gets you started playing.
It sounds great also.

Bought this guitar for my 10 yr old daughter.It was delivered very quickly and i was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the guitar.The dvd,carrying bag with strap ,amp,cord,picks and strap,let you start learning as soon as you open up the box.I thought it was a great value for the inexpensive price.

Has a beautiful appearance and good finishes, is for beginners but look very profecional ... and for that price I think is very good buy ... (regards from Colombia)
