I have been a fan of Candye Kane since her CD "Swango". Each disc since then has had highlights, but Guitar'd and Feathered is truly her finest work ever. The song selection is top notch, and I'm so happy that Candye stripped some of the songs to their essence allowing her powerful voice to shine. Thank you Candye for making this CD, it is truly a masterpiece.

Candye Kane has done it again! This singer, with her talented, soulful delivery and controversial viewpoints has delivered a great CD that is packed with guest apearances by legendary guitar players, such as Dave Alvin, and many more.

Candye is on her way to being legendary as well. Don't beleive me? Check out itunes essential "Blues Ladies" and see Candye performing among definitively legendary performers such as Bessie Smith and Tina Turner.

Candye has just been nominated for the Blues Hall of Fame. Her sultry voice and love for music comes through on every song. She loves to sing and is the hardest working female in the industry. Many people are not aware of the number of charities she donates her time to. When you listen to this C.D. you will want to dance and it will make you smile.

Everything Candye releases is exceptional but this one is special. She brings together old friends and past collaborators for a variety of great guitar styles and memorable music. Obviously friendship means alot to Candye Kane and is the inspiration behind this effort. Enjoy!

I pre-ordered this CD when it first came out. And as usual I was not disappointed. Candye's beautiful voice and charming sense of humor came through in every note. I can't wait for the next new recording.
