Much better than the "Bizkit" kids,

This review is from: Guitarded (Audio CD)
When I ask people if they've heard of the band Limp, they always assume I mean Limp Bizkit. In reality, the band called just plain ol' "Limp" is tons better than those Bizkit dorks! And their second album, Guitarded, proves me right. If you listen to and like the first song on the CD, you will like all of the rest; it's that simple. I love melodic pop-punk, and this band is the best at what they do. An excellent foot-tapping CD with melodies that you won't soon forget.

An experience unparralled by any recent musical ventures,

This review is from: Guitarded (Audio CD)
A floating streaming of symphonic harmonies transcending thought and emotion. This seminal effort by Limp is full of unrestrained notes and melodies, with each song eloquently articulating heart-felt narratives of strength and passion. In 1991 Nirvana emerged and charted the course for Rock N Roll in this decade. With Guitarded, Limp emerges as heirs to the throne, prepared to navigate a new direction with their brand of smart and accessible punk rock. Each song is carefully woven into a flourishing colorful bouquet of intelligent and meaningful substance. The album evokes memories of translucent summer days spent creating provocative dreams. Brilliant, simply brilliant!!!

Limp Does It Again,
This review is from: Guitarded (Audio CD)
This is another great disc from Limp. The music is a little faster than Pop and Disorderly, but stays along the same lines. A few of the songs on this album are also done in a different version on the 5 song Fine Girl. Any fan of melodic pop punk will most likely dig this album.
