5.0 out of 5 stars A GENIOUSE WITH NOT ENOUGH RECOGNITION, October 18, 2005

This review is from: Guitarra Celtica (Audio CD)
this album is probibly the best guitar album i have ever heard, and im basing that mainly on the quality of the melodys more than the complexity of the music, his blend of flutes whistles , double bass and even keys, are balanced realy well this isnt the master playing of a tommy amanuel or amazing guitar work of andrew york, but if it was i wouldnt have listend to it 1 million times already, becouse i believe it should appeal to more than just guitar players mainly becouse it isnt just 1 guitarist playing realy technical classical peices of music wich often lack a bit of feeling.it is jamed packed of soothing melodys that blow u away the first time u hear them that have that bueatiful haunting celtic feeling to them,i wish this guy would come to Australia coz id pay 100 dollars to see and hear him,my favs would have to be well....all of em i guess theres not realy 1 that id skip just put the album on and let it roll,if u like good music buy this album if u want a guitar album thats full of technical "didly deez" but passionless get a leo kotke cd or a don ross album, DIS GUYS DAH BEST

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent album, December 6, 2007

Excellent CD. Obviously some great guitar playing, but the cd also features some very nice uillean pipes. Reminds me of some of Loreena McKennitt's music.
