There are better books in these subjects, February 18, 2007
This review is from: Guitars, Design, Production and Repair (Paperback)
This book tries to cover too many major topics (design, production, and repair) in its 162 pages. The table of contents reflects the lack of subject organization in the text. There is no index, making it very hard to find specific items. Most of the photos are quite grainy and are neither numbered nor titled so that they could be easily referenced in the text. The text has numerous spelling and grammatical errors, making it quite hard to read. The text in the copy I have is not square with the page. There are better books than this one to choose from, especially on the subjects of guitar design or repair.
