This review is from: Big Guitars in Little Europe (Audio CD)
"Big Guitars in Little Europe" is the best live album I'v ever heard. The title says it all -- playing in a small venue without the assistance of drums or bass, Justin Sullivan and Ed Blomberg rip through 14 tunes that are guaranteed to blow the socks off anyone lucky enough to be in venue.

The only cover is Neil Young's "Freeworld," and as Sullivan tells you, the only reason they play it is because "we like it." That's good enough for me, they could probably cover TLC's "Waterfalls" and make it shine. That said, the version of "Living in the Rose" is an absolute rarity, and "Ghost of Your Father" is the best song they've ever cut NOT to make it onto an album (see their B-Sides).

For anyone who's a fan of rock-n-roll you need to see NMA -- I don't care if it means flying to Europe -- and for anyone who's ever seen them live this album is an absolute must have.
