Terrific product,... convienient and versatile.
But, the fold-out drinking vessel will readily break if dropped unto a hard surface, even from a short height. And, it cannot be repaired.
I've contacted the manufactor, New Angle Pet Products, and got no response.
They should offer replacement vessels, and redesign with a hard rubber material that will take impact,... we are talking dogs here!

We hike and hunt our hounds year round and no other pet waterer has ever held up like this one, it is brilliantly designed and rugged, in extreme cold we did drop one on concrete and crack the drinking trough but it was easily fixed.

we freeze them in summer and boil them in winter and they keep on working, two years of 3 to 4 times a week use and no complaints.

Also, the genuises who built them made the threads the same as threads on soda bottles, water bottles, etc, so you can easily screw ANY drink bottle onto the Gulpy and give water to your pet.

the down sode is our hounds now run to the Gulpy when they need a drink, often ignoring their water bowls! LOL, they'd rather drink from the Gulpy~!

They make great gifts at the Holidays for anyone with a pup.

One thing in advance: there are three or four different links to this item on Amazon, with nearly double and more than triple the price. Due to that price, the product got rated down at the other links when customers found out that there is a cheaper option available (this one).

The price of a product should never enter into a rating score, because everybody can decide for themselves whether the features and specifications value the price in somebody's book.

My dogs had three puppies, so I bought four different types of these pet bottles from four different manufacturers, in order to compare them and find the best. Two of the bottles didn't last very long, because of an idiotic design or the materials chosen, such as a soft plastic that dogs would rather chew on than drink out. A third one leaked like hell and required assembly/disassembly.

This "Gulpy" bottle was the one-eyed among the blind. It's easier to use than the competitor products and handled heat and sea water better as well. One thing I would like to recommend the manufacturer is to offer a bigger and broader bottle for dogs with a bigger/broader mouth. Nevertheless, except for really big races, most dogs should be able to quench their thirst on a longer excursion far from clean sources of water in the outdoors.

The "Gulpy" is the best of the bunch and if it was available with a broader drinking angle in bigger sizes, it would have received half a star more.

Great idea, great product, great price! Works really well and easily clips to waistband or belt while walking your dog!

This is the second time I purchased this product the first lasted almost 4 years. It is a must for summer hikes!

I was introduced to the Gulpy by a fellow pet owner at a local dog park. I immediatly ordered it for my dog, Sandy. It has what looks like a plastic duck bill which is hinged onto a squeezable water bottle and it allows your dog to drink as much as he or she wants without a mess or having to hunt down a water source. My dog willingly drinks from it and I keep it in the refrigerator all the time, ready to go.

Excellant product. Light and easy ot carry in a back pocket or on belt. Highly recomended if you're walking with your dog in summer. Shipping was quick. Delivery company lost package, but the supplier's customer service department quickly sent a new one and even went so far as to use a different shipper to avoid another lost package. Very satisfied. Would order from them again.

This is a great bottle for the dog for drinking. Be careful not to drop as plastic. I am at the beach all summer and she has stopped drinking salt water and uses the Gulpy. I love it and so does she. Would highly recommend. People come up to me and ask about it all the time.

Love the Gulpy. Took my Shepard on a 5 hour road trip and the Gulpy worked wonderfully.

If you need a water bottle to keep your pet cool during the summer, this is by far the best model to purchase. It doesn't leak, and the angle that the bowl lays on is flat, making it nice and easy for dogs to drink out of. Plus, it has a handy clip to attach to your backpack for hikes etc. I have a french bulldog who overheats very easily during warm weather, so this item is a must for us. we used to lug along bottles of water and squirt them into her mouth, but half the time it went up her nose etc. not so great! This works perfectly and we can keep chilled water in the fridge for daily walks, and it's free!
