One Sweet Read!, January 21, 2008
This review is from: The Gumdrop Ghost (Nancy Drew Notebooks #33) (Paperback)
10 Tide Street in River Heights is just an ordinary house. Or is it? People say that it's haunted. Nancy Drew doesn't buy that story, but her friends, Bess and George are not so sure.
There's a girl named Lizzie Benson who lives there, and the funny thing is Lizzie seems to be a dead ringer for Elizabeth Benson. Elizabeth Benson was a movie star many years ago!
At the big talent show in River Heights, Lizzie wins the top prize by putting in a performance that amazes everyone. She can sing, dance and do it all. Could that mean that Lizzie Benson is actually the ghost of Elizabeth Benson?
The girls sure think so, and it's up to Nancy Drew to use her trusty blue notebook to break this story down logically! Will all the clues and suspects prove that the talent show winner is a ghost? You can be sure that Nancy will do it all before the last page is turned!
The Gumdrop Ghost is another of the fabulous novels by Carolyn Keene sure to delight young readers.
