The first time my children and I read this book, they knew exactly what Sherry wanted to communicate: We can do something to make the world better - even as young as we are. The book holds a place of distinction on our shelf. Illustrations? Captivating! B & M Weston

I bought this for my 8-year old daughter. She loves it and now reads it to her little sister. The illustrations are fantastic. I'm looking forward to the next book from this talented writer and illustrator! We bought the calendar, too!

"Gumfounded" is an adorable book! Sherry B. Garr is an amazing and talented writer. Both educational and entertaining, this book has a great message for everyone! A+++!

I love this book with its important message, rhyming text, and unforgettable illustrations. What a wonderful way to impress on children the importance of not littering and to teach what recycling is.

It is the perfect combination of eye-catching illustrations with a playful and educational story. What better way is there to teach children the importance of the recycling! Our children are our future, and it is vital that we teach them how to take care of the environment, NOW. I would recommend this book to anyone, and I am excited to see what adventure Tia will go on next!

What a fun, educational approach to recycling!! I love Tia and the darling story line this book portrays. Children can realate to it very easily. Sherry B. Garr is an amazing and creative author. She is complimented very well by Kirk Werner's illustrations. My 2 young children love this story and colorful pictures. I have shared this book with many and all who see it fall in love with it. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone...old and young alike!!

My wife and I really enjoyed reading the adventure's of Tia in the Gumfounded Book. Our children and grand children have enjoyed it as well, it has a very timely message about the importants of RECYCLEING. We think that it is a book that should be in every home and school. We hope that there will be follow up books on other important subjects with Tia as the star.

I read this book to my sixth grade class and was absolutely thrilled with their response. The book is cleverly written and the illustrations are delightful. The book provided a great introduction to a discussion on taking care of our environment by the small and simple things we do. This book is a wonderful aid for both parents and teachers. I recommend it without reservation.

Kirk Werner's amazing artwork is the perfect compliment to Sherry Garr's entertaining (and relevant) story about the importance of recycling. I've read this story to my young sons a number of times and they are always enchanted by the wonderful pictures. They really enjoy picking out the various types of trash that Tia picks up with her gummy shoes on the way to school. A great kid's story with a strong message!

I heard about this book from a friend...and am so glad I bought it. It has a wonderful message, the story is charming and the illustrations are EXCELLENT!
