Book Description

November 2007
In the follow up to Hose Monkey, ex-NYPD detective Joe Serpe has officially partnered up with his ex-internal affairs nemesis, Bob Healy. They have a stake in three businesses: a bar aptly named the Odd Couple, an oil delivery company, and a private investigations firm. Two of thier ventures are thriving--strangely, it's the PI firm that's flagging. Both partners are on the verge of letting it go when Joe is hired by Timmy Dushane, a relative of an old cop friend.

Then Dushane gets thrown in the path of an oncoming train. As Joe and Bob look into the murder, they come across a promotional postcard: a beautiful young woman posing with a handgun. She's a Gun Bunny. And the Gun Bunnies, as it happens, are a front for an Asian extortion, smuggling, and prostitution ring.
