This is a tremendous work and belongs in the personal library of any big bore rifle or double rifle enthusiast... any shooter, gun enthusiast or reloader for that matter.

As the gun annuals go, this book is "IT". Gun Digest is evolving and doing it's best to keep up with the very fast rate of change that we see in the world of firearms and ammunition these days. There are others in the same category but none that can be considered better.

I found inspiration and valuable information in the pages of this book (all editions) when writing my own book, rexGun by Templar Rexgun, which addresses safari and dangerous game rifles and how to select appropriate cartridges for any given game, up to T. rex.

I highly recommend this book, every edition of this book, to all shooters and gun enthusiasts.

On the front cover of this book are the words, "THE WORLD'S GREATEST GUN BOOK!".
Unfortunately, if you try to use the "GUNDEX" or gun index, the page numbers are all wrong. In other words, someone forgot to edit the index for this edition.
Ah, you say, who cares! Who indeed. Therein lies the greatest tragedy of all; apathy.

I found the 2010 Gun Digest to be an excellent addition for this venerable franchise. I have been critical of the recent past Gun Digests but I really liked this 2010. There is a new editor, Dan Shideler who has clearly revitalized the GD formula. The editors have increased the total number of articles from the past editions. Among the increase is an expanded coverage for collectors of antiques as well as historical features. I especially liked the expanded custom and engraved guns photo section. All photos were clear and distinct to me. I would recommend the GD 2010 to every gun enthusiast.

This is a great update for the older volumnes. I buy them about once every five years to get the new guns which come in. Some older models are not listed but are contained in the older volumnes. There is no reason to buy one each year.
Unless of course you have plenty of room in your library.

This book is perfect for a guy like me who enjoys hunting and target shooting and wants to see what the latest gear being offered is. I used this book to research and make an informed decision when buying a new scope. My son and I have gleemed hours of pleasure from reading this book. Amazon was terrific as usual.

The year old Digest was delivered in "like New" condition, I know that its articles and items listed are over a year old, but its still interesting to "catch up" on what is available.

Into my 5th issue so far and I must say I'm impressed. Articles and reviews on a wide cross section products and calibers. A few too many ads get in the way but it isn't a big deal. I will more than likely keep subscribing.

I was expecting alittle more gun inventory. It is somewhat of a collection of gun magazines. That is my impression. If you need a book with firearm values and general pic info about guns etc. This really is not it. However after taking the time to read some of the articles etc I am still impressed and am considering a subscription. I also see they have a catalog just for gun prices,values which I may buy as well.

Gun Digest arrived on time and in great condition. Being carefully handled to share with children and grandchildren.

I bought this for my guy. He loves guns and reloading. He hadn't known about the Gun Digest, and is still reading it, months later.
