The toy overall was what I was expecting. The ONLY part I was disappointed in was the cardboard mouth. Other than that GREAT TOY! What child doesn't love a cush doll that is larger than them? =)

I bought this for my son for his 2nd birthday and he loves it. It also makes for some VERY cute pictures and it is going to be used as part of the decor for his party, which is going to have an Elmo theme.
The quality is very nice -- it feels just like the smaller plush figures Gund makes. Sometimes the jumbo sized stuffed animals are shoddy, but this one has a very good feel.
Also, the price on amazon is fantastic -- I first saw this Elmo in a store with my son, and it really was being sold for $150 -- the list price shown on amazon.

I purchased this as a gift for a 2 year old. It really is 41" and looked just like the picture. It does have the hard cardboard mouth that could be an issue if its thrown around, otherwise its great.
