Gund Comfy Cozy Lamb "Cream"

This is a quick video review of my 6.5 month old daughter playing with her comfy cozy lamb blanket.

UPDATE: My daughter is now 10 months old and has grown quite attached to this lamb blanket. She sleeps so well when she has her lamb blanket to cuddle with and it has been very helpful in teaching her to self soothe. (For safe sleeping, we take it out of her crib once she has fallen asleep.)

This lamb is my son's lovey. He sleeps with it every night, it travels with us, and is played with around the house. Although he received it as a present at birth, he became quite attached at about 16 months to it, and it has been his companion since. He's now five.

Washing it is a delicate thing. It only gets occasional baths in the washer, and then in a pillow case on delicate/handwash. With this careful treatment, it is not yet showing wear on the satin paws, which seems to be the first place of wear due to washing.

We give these "comfy cozys" as baby shower gifts now that we know how great they are. There are so many to choose from. I highly recommend these.

This is the most wonderful product! The lamb face is darling, and the softness of the toy makes it perfect for a newborn.

Got this as a gift when my daughter was born. She is now two and 'Lamby' is her lovey! Easily used as a pillow, blanket, or just to cuddle and dance with, this comfy guy serves its purpose.

It's also very durable as it's been through the wash and dryer numerous times. It's recommended hand wash/air dry, but when somebody is this important to a little one, you can't always wait for it to air dry!

My daughter, now 4, received this as a gift when she was born. It became her comfort toy, and she is never ever without it. It's soft and cute and can be a stuffed animal or pillow or blanket, and it's all of these for her. It held up pretty well through multiple washings, but we finally needed a new one.

The product is very nice. It is much larger than the picture depicted, I was looking for a replacement for a lost lamb for my daughter and when I opened the package is was almost twice the size. However, she loves it and it is perfect.

My 15-month-old received this comfy cozy lamb when he was a small baby. From the time he was old enough to recognize it as a toy and companion, he and his lamb have been inseparable. "Lamb" was even one of his first words. This lamb is so soft and cuddly, and just the right size for hugging. It is also machine washable, which I consider to be an essential feature. Since my son loves this lamb so much, I decided to purchase a back-up lamb. My children have several Gund animals, so I am well-acquainted with the quality of this brand. Unfortunately, I encountered a small problem with the second lamb. The good news about this is that it has given me the opportunity to learn what amazing customer service Gund provides. This is certainly a company that stands behind its products and takes excellent care of its customers. Again, I cannot emphasize enough HOW RARE it is to have an issue with a Gund product. (Trust me, my kids have a lot of them.) To me, however, a company's response to an issue is more important than the issue itself. I only mention the issue I had so that readers realize Gund is top-notch in this regard. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gund and the comfy cozy lamb. I'm sure your baby will love this lamb as much as my son does!

This Lamby was given as a shower gift to my daughter. She started sleeping with it at about 8 months. When she went to daycare at 9 months and was a bit insecure, she really attached to her "Lamby". It has been her constant companion since. If she has to leave it behind for a while, she gives it a kiss and hug and puts him to bed! It is too cute.

She loves to scratch the satin paws. Unfortunately, this means that they are always getting shredded. We rotate 6 (yes 6! And about to order 4 more) Lambies to keep them clean and mended. We have bought more durable, heavier weight satin and had a seamstress replace the paw pads so they last longer.

I like the softness of this toy and the washability. The originals have lost some of the ultra-plush softness because we had to dry them (in a commercial laundromat...super high heat). We avoid doing this now, and they stay in perfect shape through tons of washes. My daughter is now 3 and everyone knows about her favorite thing...it's the Lamby. I recommend giving it to anyone for a shower gift.

this is my daughters 3 Gund Comfy Cozy Lamb, she has loved all of them and two are wearing out. She saw the new one that was plush and oh so soft and requested a new one for Christmas. Hands down this is her favorite item to sleep on, even @ 5!

We purchased this Comfy Cozy for our 6 month old niece this Christmas. She was attached to it immediately...just like theother nieces/nephews before her. Our daughter received a Comfy Cozy when she was born and still sleeps with it 8 years later. We have made it a tradition to buy family/friends a Comfy Cozy when they have a child and I don't know of any who are not still strongly attached. I would suggest buying two so you don't have to drive 2 hours out of your way to pick up a forgotten blanket.......we've been there.
