Our 2-year-old loves Thomas the Train, so this was a great gift for her. She has other Thomas items, but they're limited to playtime. This, however, is not only good for playtime, but safe enough for her to take to bed with her (she even kicked her Elmo out to make room for Thomas!). It's also small enough for her to be able to take on car rides. A great all around item to have if you've got a child that's really into Thomas.

Our son wants to take his cars and trains to bed with him and doesn't have any interest in stuffed animals. This was a nice compromise we could all be happy with. He has his train and we're not afraid he will hurt himself or choke on any parts at night. Or play all night!
