Gund has excellent quality, and though it did not come in a box (really my only complaint) Big Bird is definely the softest stuff animal I have ever come along. I bought almost all the main characters for Christmas for my daughter and when we watch Sesame Street they are alot of fun to play along with, even for adults. With the free shipping this same item actually ended up cheaper than other less expensive Big Birds at different sites.

My son loves this plush toy. It is so soft and very hug-gable. It arrived even sooner than expected. I do like the Gund Sesame street dolls better because I think they look closer to the actual characters than others.

I purchased this for my nephew's 1st birthday. He hasn't seen Sesame Street yet, so he doesn't know who Big Bird is. Doesn't matter, though. Big Bird is so soft and bright that my nephew was drawn right to him! It's become his favorite companion (which came in very handy when he had to have some extra blood tests and he needed something to hug and comfort him). The toy doesn't shed and is washable...a big plus for anyone with a toddler! When I first got it, I thought it might be a little small (I was looking for a "big" stuffed toy), however it ended up being the perfect size to hug and carry around. Not too small at all! If you're looking for a new "friend" for your child, you can't go wrong with Big Bird!

This big bird is well made, but the beak is rather hard so it is not super cuddly. The rest of it is soft, but when you hug it, the beak pokes you. My kids prefer the elmo made by gund better, but it could be because they like elmo better too.

I purchased this for my beautiful 2 year old niece. She absolutely loves this doll. Very well made and looks great on her bed. She sleeps with it every night and it is very soft. Makes a great gift for any young girl who loves Big Bird. Gund makes great plush toys. I have purchased many gund products over the years and they do hold up well.

Big Bird is so identifiable by all little kids. My grandson loves Big Bird and was thrilled to have him as a playmate. He's well made, soft and cute. I'm sure he will last a long time.

These sesame street characters are adorable. Great value for the money and my 18 month old loves them, they are the perfect size for him. We got him a set of 4, gave him two for Christmas, can't wait for him to get the other 2 for his birthday.

Our 2 3/4 year old loves all the Sesame Street characters so for her it was love at first sight with this Big Bird. Cute, cuddly, and well crafted.

Washable, durable stuffed toy. Perfect for any Sesame Street fan. We got him for my 2 year old grandson who loved him.

I bought several of these for my niece (and a few for myself). They are sesame street goodness. No weird smells when I got the bags open. My niece seems to love them in her playpen. They are soft and seem durable. No problems with any of them. She will be the biggest test on their durability. Overall happy with them since she likes them and they don't seem cheap quality. This review is cross posted with the other ones I bought.
