I purchased this toy for a young girl that worships "big bird." She is a special needs child who takes this toy with her everywhere. It is constantly played with, so durability was an important component for the choice. Also, the toy's softness added to my consideration for safety.

I have a 1 year old who loves this big bird. He is about as big as she is but she carries him around with her where ever she goes.

For anyone who has a child that loves Sesame Street or Big Bird - worth the money! Of course it's a stuffed animal - but the size of it, wow! My son's face when he first saw it was priceless - it was as if it was the "real" Big Bird himself sitting in our living room.
