This should be one of the best non-grade 1/100 model kit of Bandai. For me its exact grade is HG or maybe more. Model parts have really good molding and great detail overall. With its good articulation and poseability, you can spend hours with playing for cool poses. It's quality is getting close to MG features for a cheap price.

If you're looking into the Gundam 00 series, don't miss the Exia. It has excellent articulation, a shield, and quite a few varieties of sword. Plus, at only $25, this is a steal!

It's a High Grade Garage Kit, but with so many details that looks like a Master Grade with a High Grade price!

First of all, let me say that this was my first Model Kit, and it was a great experience.
I bought this as a gift for one of my best friends, and he allowed me to build it. Being this my first model kit, I had no tools at all, but I did just fine with a cutter from our tool box, sandpaper and a toothpick. Something that's not stated anywhere in the product description is that the instructions are in Japanese, but since everything's so detailed graphically, you don't really need to know the language at all to understand and get everything right. It took me around 9 hours in total, including the pauses to finish assembling it. It's a very articulated model, I can make it pose however I want and it also has lots of weapons too, which I personally loved. After the Exia experience, I'm definitively getting Virtue and Dynames in the future to assemble them too!

I found this to be a satisfying and fairly simple build. It is a little lacking in overall durability but some tactical application of model glue works just fine. I found that using a green permanent marker worked better on the clear pieces than the included decals (I suggest coloring on the inside of the piece as rubbing can cause color to run over even after a long period of time. This model balances well even when posed and has lots of fun weapons. Overall a great model. A note for new builders: When removing socket pieces from sheet be careful to clip or file all excess stubs or else the joints WILL NOT fit together properly. If its not fitting snuggly YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG.

This model was my second 1/100 in the 00 series, first bing the kyrios model. the model is very detailed and comes with many of the weapons and stuff you see in the show. the gun/blade thing works very well and seems sturdy enough. the 2 gn blades are included along with beam sabers with blades. the only problem i had was with the right hip joint, the c piece that acts as a joint was malformed and i ended up having to do some moding on it with my knife. got it to work allthough its a little losse now, the peice that attaches the gn blade to the hip also is loose and falls off easily... not because of my moding, just a desine flaw. not a perfect model but worth a buy.

This is my second gundam i have bought and i am glad i did it looks exactly like what you see in the pictures other then the panel lining it is a very fun build the only complains i have are the legs ball joints come lose after awhile if you are trying out different poses not to often but it happens and the giant sword on his right hand can throw the model off balance ALLOT. Not to many poses you can do with with guy with the sword on the legs are a bit clumsy but other then that it's a fine looking model just don't 'f' with it to much. A small tip i have is for those clear parts you put on his legs arms and head before putting them in color them in with a green marker the stickers just make them look black don't even bother putting them on a sharpie marker will even do for this for people who don't have gundam markers. Overall it's an excellent model with a few flaws. Well worth it.

I havent built a Gundam Model Kit in about 10 years. After about an hour of searching I decided to go with Exia, mainly for its price. I got the Kit and started constructing it. Took me about 5-6 hours (with a break for lunch). The model kit is very easy to build all parts snap on smoothly. I took so long because i took the time out to file down those perturbing plastic pieces that get created when you remove the components from the plastic (with a nail-filer). The closely thing i could find to help with applying the stickers and handling small pieces, a toothpick, worked nicely. I am happy with my purchase. Exia has a ton of weapons to choose from which makes for interesting setups and poses. It is very well articulated and the 1/100 scale Gundam looks great anywhere you put it. It is my first Gundam for my new collection and it makes for a great starting point for anyone looking to go into building model kits.
Only complaint, one of the pieces on left hip that holds the long dagger doesn't snap on well like the one on the right. Falls off a bit, but when held in place, it stays on. So, no biggie.

After 5 long years I decided to build another gundam model. In 5 years the quality of the models have improved a lot. The joints and posability are the first thing I noticed were much better.I recommend painting models to bring out the full articulation and colors of the model but it isn't necessary. It took a couple hours to put together, very fun tho!
