This review is from: Gundam MS-06S Zaku II Char Custom Ver 2.0 MG 1/100 Scale (Toy)
This was my second Master Grade that I bought. It's probably my most well built model out of my Gundams too. Although, I had problems with it's right ankle(a piece broke in half, and I had to glue it back together), it's Bazooka, it's hand, shoulder, and dry transfer decals, it was still a fun build.
My problem with the dry transfers applies to every Gundam model. They're like those kiddy tattoos, where you have to wet them, but instead you rub the back of them, and they apply(there are also wet transfers for models, even more like those tattoos). I always mess these up, because I can hardly manage to cut them out of the tiny little sheet they come in, when they do come out, it's hard for me to tell if they're right side up, or upside down. If you mess them up at all, then you're out of luck. However, it's modeling, so you're supposed to take your time. So, as long as you're patient, and watch what you do, you should be fine.
My problem with the ankle was the peg that attaches the leg to the ankle snapped down the middle, in half. Then, when I was super gluing the pieces back together, I messed them up, and they were lopsided. So I had to pry the pieces apart, and glue them again. After that it worked, but the ankle is still pretty stiff.
My problem with the bazooka is an actual technical flaw. The shoulder it's supposed to rest on, doesn't very well, because of the armor. So you have to flip the armor up a bit, but it still looks kind of dumb. The other problem with this, is the hand. The socket for the hand to the wrist is too weak, and it can't hold the bazooka in the right way. The last problem is the other socket in the bazooka handle, which is also too weak. So if you're going to pose him with the bazooka, you have to make sure you don't rattle the table he's posed on too much, or else it'll fall out all the time.
Regardless of these problems, it's a great kit, with really good articulation, and looks fantastic. I just hope my next Master Grade will be as fun as this was.
