This kit is really nice; however, not all the parts are gold. Depending on preference if you want it completely gold, I recommend buying a Gold Gundam Marker. I used it on the pieces that showed such as the wings for the dragoons and the inner frame that shows when the body parts are posed. It really makes a difference as it makes the gold match up for each other. The marker also helps cover up nicks you make while nipping the parts from the runners.

The overall build of this Gundam model kit is really solid. I have not experienced too much problems with it holding onto accessories, but if you move it around too much, they will surely fall out.

While building, I accidentally broke a part that attaches to the waist. It is the waist part that wraps around from the sides around the back. Be careful if you are painting and removing this part. Remove it with care because too much tension will cause it to snap.

Amazingly, if you get both rifles connected and into one hand, it will be able to hold it steady. The beam shield is also very flexible. You can turn it 360 which adds to posability; however, the shoulder does hinder it a bit.

The wings must be assembled correctly. The joint at which they pivot may need to be turned about. When you turn the wings, the mechanism should work where it makes the wings spread out. It should be snug and not loose. If it is loose, check that the piece is put correctly.

The kit comes with 2 stands, water slide decals, sticker decals, a small lacus, kira and cockpit kira.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent kit, January 5, 2008

I really disliked the Gundam SEED anime, so what really drew me to this kit was the detail. There are so many little things that make this model great, such as opening panels in the legs, the folding beam rifles on the sides of the hips, the cockpit opens, etc. If you want a model that'll take you some time to build, this one provides a satisfying challenge and result.

Alright, so I have never put a Gundam together and I easily did this one in less than a work day. Now granted I havent done the outlining and coloring (since this is my first one) but it still looks awesome. I did break a piece that attaches to the waist but still got it to look and work properly. For a beginner I found out that it was not as hard as I thought it would be, I was assuming it was gonna take weeks but nope it was quick. The completed model looks amazing and I think I just might build another one later on down the line. If I could only decide which one to build. Also gotta color over the clipping areas so it looks better.

I truly LOVE this Kit!! My only issue is that I have serious probs with the putting together of the hands & fingers; they do not stay, nor fit properly on one, but I was able to correct the other. Still, I had to use some glue to keep all the fingers from falling out. That was a surprise! The flexibility is both a plus & burden; some of the parts easily slip off more often than not.

The 'wings' are very heavy, of course, but they will not stay locked in place, or have enough tension to have poseable fun with them. Maybe it's just me, and I screwed this thing up somehow. Otherwise, it's a project to put together, so be very patient when working on it!

Had no probs with delivery or timely manner or receiving it. Good Merchant. I am so looking forward to buying more Gundam Kits from this Merchant!

5.0 out of 5 stars Strike Freedom Full Burst, January 5, 2010

This review is from: Gundam ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam Full Burst Mode MG 1/100 Scale (Toy)
Very similar to the previously released MG Strike freedom, except that this one comes with a poster, a special stand, gold coated joints, and clear blue thrusters for the dragoons (I think thats what the wing tips are called). A little more expensive than the normal MG version, but I was still really impressed with this kit. I like it better than most MG kits because the joints are pretty tight and it doesn't seem like they will loosen up even if I keep moving the model around, until other models. The stand that it comes with has places to put the thrusters for the wingtip so that you can display it in its "full burst mode"
The model wasn't that hard to build, but it was a lot of fun. Painting not required, comes with a lot of decals, but if you were to paint it, do it before placing on the decals.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, September 26, 2007
This review is from: Gundam ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam Full Burst Mode MG 1/100 Scale (Toy)
Model can be put into different poses. Vibrant colors. The gold parts really make it very elegant. Doesn't need painting since it has near perfect details. Really looking forward to put it into fighting poses with the Master Grade Destiny Gundam (when released). The shipping is very fast.
