I grew up hearing Johnny Western sing most of the theme songs in the western movies that were so popular at that time. He has a rich voice that perfectly matches what you would expect a cowboy's voice to sound like as he keeps watch over the herd at night. I highly recommend this album to anyone who loves the western genre.

I really enjoy watching the reruns of traditional westerns of the 50's and 60's and these songs are right out of that era! I love 'em!

This CD was awesome ! We had seen Johnny Western at the Festival of the West in AZ and just loved to listen to all of our favorite old western songs !!
