We use this on every brake job we do at our shop. Always wash the rotor or drum with soap and water dry off and then we apply this product along with high quality brake pads or shoes and we have no noise complaints from our customers and we do probably 2-3 brake jobs a day.

I bought this product to address squeaky brakes on my Jaguar. I tried several applications of the product following the directions and it made no difference at all.

This product does not work. That is the most important thing. It works for about 10-30 mins of driving until the product has been rubbed off by the friction of the pads against the rotors and then the squeal returns like new. Additionally--and inexplicably--the manufacturer added silver paint to the mixture so you end up spray painting the rotor silver. Why does this matter? First of all, you will likely get some on the inside or outer edges of the rotor (where it won't be rubbed off by the pads) which will look bad if you have the type of wheels that allow visibility of the rotors. If you plan on trying to apply with the wheels still on you risk getting silver paint overspray on your wheels or (god forbid) your actual car. Why couldn't they just make a can of (ostensible) squeal stopping material without adding freaking silver paint to it?!? I am not trying to make my car look like it is owned by a teenage boy who thinks spray painted brakes look cool. So, to sum up, the product does not work and it adds silver paint where it is not wanted.

Tried half of bottle & squeak sound still exist. Guess best way to re-surface disc instead of waste $$$ on this.
