The book was another western involving Fast Larry Shaw in Mexico. It is an excelant story and keeps you reading until conclusion. Ralph Cotton does an excellant job of telling the story.

1.0 out of 5 stars If you ever have to prove that you are insane, this book will help., January 12, 2011

If you are ever on trial for your life and you need to prove that you are not guilty by reason of insanity, this book can help you with that.

Simply go on record now as having read it and liked it.

Then in court have your attorney dredge up the review where you said this book was great writing and there ain't a jury in the world that won't call you as crazy as a s&%#house rat.

If this was written when all humans did was cave painting, it would still be bad writing.

Imagine the worst B movie spaghetti western you ever saw even 5 minutes of, then imagine someone with severe Tourettes Syndrome, who stutters very badly, AND repeats themselves describing that movie to you in detail....got that?

THAT is exactly what its like to read this book.

It almost breaks through and gets your interest then it falls flat again.

I think the author, yeah, I'll go all out and call the hack that wrote this an author, why not? doesn't cost me anything to do it....the Author has some individual ideas that are pretty neat...if you never saw Spaghetti Westerns, make that any western ever, but he can't get the ideas strung together to make a complete picture.

The hero insists he goes by No Name, but everyone knows him and whenever they say,Hey Larry, he answers them...So much for the mysterious Man with No Name.

Hi My Name is Larry and I have no name...duhhhh, ok, No Name, nice to have met you, is this your first meeting Larry? Yeah.says No Name.

Whats your name they ask in town. He says I go by no name. aint you larry? yes. but I have no name. yeah, but the three of us know you, everyone knows you, you are Larry aint you? Yes. says the Man with no Name, I am, but I have No Name. Ok, So its Larry then? Yes, but I have no name.

What the ???? If you answer to Larry...you're kinda gonna be the guy named Larry...If you're going to be the Mysterious Stranger then don't go to the town you grew up in...hello? pick a town you aren't known in...basic, pretty basic.

Moving on we have no less than 13 individual plot ideas for other books and the author strings them together as best he can into one jumbled mess until by the end you have no idea why characters were introduced and never seen again or we learn all about them so they can leave the next page, again...what the ???

At the beginning you start to get interested in who everyone is, because it being a book you get tricked into thinking there is going to be plot and storyline, by the middle you are hoping they all die and soon, and by the end you wish they had all died in the first chapter and we never knew No Name was Larry, in fact the best thing would have been to have his horse kick him to death the first page, I'd pay to see Larry the Man with No Name and the author together getting kicked to death by the horse.

If I had the choice between reading this guy's books or spending my vacation going car wash to car wash in the same town all day every day I'd do the car wash.

And the best part? The author leaves it as teaser!

Will Larry "the man with no name", be back? Yes, he says, but he won't tell us. He's that mysterious! But yes. I will, the answer is Yes, I will be back again. But I wont tell.

At that point you are pretty certain the horse must be retarded, no sane mentally able horse would be with this guy that long and NOT kick him to death.

Then it hits you! The HORSE is building ground work for a later plea of Insanity!

And that's why I am giving this a 5 star rating. but its 1 star.
