5.0 out of 5 stars Punk rock greats Snuff under a different name--BUY IT!!, July 17, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Guns N Wankers (Audio CD)
Guns n' Wankers is Snuff, those wonderful English punkers on Fat Wreck Chords who, in addition to your average punk instrumental line-up have since added trombone and keyboard, under a different name. They're similar to NOFX in the sense that the guitar and vocal work is incredibly catchy (not to the point of pop-punk) and about a third of the songs are really fast, relatively speaking. They aren't political, but they are incredible. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars blahblahblah, October 18, 2005
This review is from: Guns N Wankers (Audio CD)
a nice surprise! a great punk pop cd that doesn't sound juvenile or silly. just great beefy guitars and gruffy vocals with some ultra catchy hooks. i bought this cd when it first came out based solely on the ridiculous name and goofy cover and it bowled me over with it's greatness. i like the space ray gun art on the back cover, too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this album, January 15, 2007
This review is from: Guns N Wankers (Audio CD)
Having only heard "Skin Deep" and thinking how good a song it was, iwas left hoping that the rest of the songs on the album didn't let it down, which they didn't. Amazing from start to finish with a great balance of melody, grit and and everything else you could hope for in a truely amazing punk record.

I am the roadie in the band and I would just like to rank this album with a big 5 stars. I couldn't have done it with Omid on lead guitar and vocals, J.R. on drums, Georggin on bass, and Mark on triangle. Thanks guys. Hail Poway.

If you're like me and like everything from BenFoldsFive to Andrea Bocelli then add this CD to your collection. A great mix of songs that is good punk to hang out to and is great for road trips. Enjoy!!
