5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best solo fiddle albums in Irish music, December 13, 2003
By
This review is from: Gusty's Frolicks (Audio CD)
Sean Keane is, without a doubt, one of the best fiddle players in the history of Irish music. His highly embellished, yet deadly accurate style of playing provides a wonderfully entertaining set of tunes on Gusty's Frolics. While many albums like this one may become tiresome after hearing only solo tracks, Sean Keane is able to keep the listener intersested throughout the whole album. I would recommend this album to anyone who is, even in the least bit, fond of Irish fiddle-playing. Gusty's Frolics is an excellent buy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very well done for being brought out in the seventies, March 19, 2001

Seane Keane is a real master of Celtic music. And the tunes that I have listened to were very well done. Listening to Celtic music for several years now I have found very few matches for Sean Keane.
