Extremely hot new SF group--unique sound,

This CD is absolutely awesome. Pidgeon has a unique sound--first heard them on Live 105 AM radio in SF a few weeks agO and then bought thIS CD and have not been disappointed. They are a wierd mix of punk, metal, distortion, and even dance Pop/Rock, but as a whole the CD defies one music category. The female singer has a real Pixie voice, a real unexpected mix with some of the hard edge sounds of three lead guitars. The ballad "Fiona" is sweet and romantic with a strong male voice but then there is the very down and dirty "Down," both hits in the making.A very hot CD.

It's the lyrics and the voices that sing them that really make this album great. The music is solid, but the male and female voices weaving in and out, over and under each other are such fun to listen to, and the lyrics are just fantastic. You feel like you're listening to people with actual intelligence but who haven't forgotten how to press down on the guitar strings nice and firm and kick rump. I'm so happy to have this album.
