10 Years too Soon, July 27, 2009
Do ever go back and either re-appraise or simply pay attention to some music from your past?
Yes, ten years ahead of their time. If you listen to this album you'll be reminded of some artists who hover on the fringe of mass market appeal today- maybe they'll make you think Old '97s there, Modest Mouse here... there's alot of music that echoes to me in the music of Gutterball & House of Freaks.
Nobody has, apparently, bothered to review this album. So, here it is. Only three stars. I didn't say I was in love with this album, but I've reconsidered before.
I recommend you give it a listen. Who knows? Maybe this is the greatest band that never really was. That's how I feel about The Grays.
