5.0 out of 5 stars Goddamn Gallows have crossed genres to create their own unique sound, January 5, 2008

Hailing from L.A., this band comes at you hard with a sound that almost eludes description. Obviously punk influenced this album sticks out like over-alls & a straw hat in, well, the back alleys of L.A. Upon hearing "Everybody Dies" I was literally drawn into the room from the parking lot. Not to say that is the best song by far, the whole album is extremely impressive. In the ever-changing world of music, I believe TGG have created their own style. This release is definitely what I like to call a "One Touch Album"...just push play, y'all. Showing great song writing, lyrics and explosive talent here, I'm on the edge of my seat to hear what's in reserves for us next. Once you put this one in, don't plan on it leaving the rotation for a while. Look out for the Goddamn Gallows...

5.0 out of 5 stars Psychobilly at its finest, April 18, 2011

The Goddamn Gallows are one of the most unique bands around today.I first got in to the band around the time Ghost of Th' Rails was released but this album is just as good. The songs are not as fast as the ones of GOTR and has much more of a rockabilly flavor as opposed to the punk rock flavor of GOTR but it still showcases the band's talent as well as Mikey's songwriting abilities.

This album was recorded as a 3-piece with Mikey Classic on vocals/guitar,Baby G on drums/shouts and Fishgutzzz on upright bass/screams.

Standout tracks include "Gutterbillyblues","Born 2 Lie" and "I Got A Woman" which is a phenomenal reworking of the Ray Charles song.

This album is getting harder and harder to find so go ahead and get yourself a copy!
