I purchased the Guyot Squishy Bowl & Cup Set for camping. I was very disappointed at how small the bowl was -- and the cup was more like a shot glass. So, I returned the Squishy Bowl set and purchased the 36-oz pet bowl. It is PERFECT as my food bowl on camping trips. The size is right, it is FDA approved silicone grade construction that cleans easily, and I can fold it into my backpack. Forget about the manufacturer saying it is a pet dish -- it is a better breakfast bowl for humans.

I bought this for traveling (not for a pet) - I had the smaller bowl which was also good but I needed a larger bowl. You can fold and squash this up to fill in any small space in your bag and everytime it will regain its shape. I use it for hot soups, oatmeal, etc without any leaks, tears or cracks. I have not tried microwaving so I don't know if it would melt down but there's absolutely no problem putting boiling liquids in it. I would certainly buy this again but it is so durable I don't think I'll need another one anytime soon!

100% agree with the other reviewers about these being great for people.

My favorite eating vessel at home is the Feistaware gusto bowl, which is ~22 oz. Hearty eaters, the 24 oz squishy bowl will serve you well when you can't bring a giant ceramic bowl with you while travelling.

I also got the 36 oz bowl, but the floppiness of the silicone at that larger diameter makes it more awkward to handle.

Exactly as described! If you want a convenient way to keep your "best friend" hydrated and fed, but don't want the bulk of traditional bowls this is for you. I use this with my "best friend" on kayak, camping, hiking trips, and for occasional use at the shop when I dont want to carry the regular bowls in my truck. My "friend" likes to chew, but has not once been tempted to chew this item up, so "well done" on the "don't chew me" part of design considerations. I guess it just doesn't taste good or look like a chew toy? Five stars in all categories.

Bought it to put in my car for my dogs. They love it and so do I.

For starters, i'd like to say that the seller is great.
I had ordered a blue bowl and received an orange one instead. The fault lies with amazon for the wrong listing. The seller was extremely prompt and courteuos with replies.

the bowl is well made and feels durable. matte textured surface on the outside and slick glossy surface on the inside. folds and bends pretty easily so it can be carried with you.

Worth knowing before you buy though:
- when filled with liquid you really do have to have your palm on the base, cant be carried by the lip
- it does have a bit of a rubbery smell. it isnt very strong but if your dog is sensitive to stuff like this you may want to reconsider. my dog hates the smell and feel of rubber toys but she seems fine with this bowl.
- i use the bowl (large) at home or when we visit someones house. the small might be nice for treks and walks where u can fill just enough and hold it for your pup.

This bowl is a perfect size for a traveling water bowl for our yellow lab. It's deep enough that not much water is lost while she laps up her drink. It will go in her own pack on hikes, and the weight means she will hardly know it's there. It scrunches down to flat but pops right back into shape when needed. And if pooch doesn't drink it all, I fold the edge into a funnel and pour it back in the bottle without wasting precious water. I use the slightly smaller one for food and this one for water. They nest perfectly to take up minimal space. Her kibble will be in a bag inside the two bowls so no room is lost.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with this product.
