Because I come from a deprived part of the world know as the United Kingdom, I haven't had the privilage of familierising myself with the Guyver story as much as i'd have liked to. Over in the UK the final two parts of this series are yet to be releaed on DVD, and the Viz graphic novels were never published here either. The original anime episodes published by Manga Entertainment 'were' released, and it is through them that I became aquainted with the Guyver.

I particularl like this adaptation of the Guyver because not only is it true to the original Manga roots (comic), it also goes beyond it's anime counterpart in terms of storyline and gives more insight into the Guyver's world. It also transcends it in regard to the quality of the animations and colour, as well as sound clarity and voice acting.

In all honesty I don't think anyone who has seen the previous episodes (in this series or last) will be blown away by these latest ones. They carry on at a pretty frantic pace, a sharp contrast to the previous episodes which took the time to set the story. This volume is all about action, and lots of it. The engrossing fight scenes we've come to know and expect are ever-present, as is the tounge in cheek drama and slapstick comedy.

From a personal veiw point the most intrigueing thing was the continuation of a great storyline. But for soeone who is already familier with it, it may not be quite so fasinating. Overall it does nothing special, but still does enough to satisfy it's audience.

This is a great recreation of the original manga animations of the 1980's. Truer to the original story lines there is little room for dissapointment. If you love the Guyver you will love this series.

I have been following the series for a while. This episode has less action then prior ones but tell more of what is going on. It give a good understanding of the guyver units and how they were discovered.
