This review is from: Gymboree Face Painting (Gymboree Play & Music) (Board book)
I liked how easy it was to draw on the kids faces, but it was oil based. The kids had it smeared every where including my furniture which I have not been able to get out. I recommend that the kids stay outside and that a make-up remover has been purchased with this product.

Creative Face Painting,

This review is from: Gymboree Face Painting (Gymboree Play & Music) (Board book)
The product was creative and showed photos of extraordinary facepainting. The book is a design book so you must paint yourself.
Children will have a great time with the painting crayons trying to match the creation or just getting suggestions. If you want a book with fun ideas go for it.

Fun with kids,

This review is from: Gymboree Face Painting (Gymboree Play & Music) (Board book)
The bright, big photos of children happily playing while sporting painted-on jewelry, clown eyes, or tiger whiskers inspires kids and parents to come up with their own ideas for face painting. But there's also step-by-step instructions and photos to recreate the designs in the book. Although it's primarily designed for kids old enough to appreciate body paint (since the book covers creative ways to paint feet and draw on tattoos), the thick pages mean it's also toddler-proof. This is my 14-month-old daughter's favorite book!

The makeup artist for this book,

This review is from: Gymboree Face Painting (Gymboree Play & Music) (Board book)
The makeup artist/face painter for this book is Kristen Scott, professional face painter and owner of Magickal Entertainment, based in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, USA. This information wasn't posted above, but is listed in the credits in the book. I thought posting this would be helpful for other face painters and makeup artists seeking this information on the Gymboree book.
