My son is 5 and loves this. he is a big boy, 70 lbs, and this fits him perfect. I know all these different size balls are confusing. I took a shot at this one and it fits perfect. This ball is very durable, it seems really thick and puncture proof. Has a bit of an odor to it, but it goes away. hope this helps

I bought these for my pre-k and 1st graders; both love it as does my 3rd grader. I get a kick out of it, too, since it can hold adults :) My one and only complaint is that the instructions said not to use any air compressor so I used my hand bike pump (the hop came with an adaptor). It took an amazing amount of time to pump up. Have a flexible tape measure handy and take breaks tho (just plug it part-way while you do so it doesn't lose air :) and you'll do fine. Well worth it.

Excellent size for my 11 yr old, who is small, but tall. She loves it, however the handle broke on first use, but it is still usable so no big issue there. With S&H I paid too much, I also paid for 2 day shipping and didnt get it for 5-6 days if I recall. I sent an email to Amazon and they worked with me on it. Be careful when you pay extra for shipping, pay attention to what the receive date really is. It wasnt worth the cost of 2 day shipping. All turned out well, thank you Amazon for working with me, and my daughter is bouncing on it now! And excellent source of indoor and outdoor exercise!

I got one of these for Christmas when I was five. It was my favorite toy for many years. When I saw them here I wanted to share that fun with my own children. My ten year old has been bouncing on his since he was six. My six year old got his at four. They are the same durable toy as they were more than 30 years ago.

I purchased the Gymnic 55 Hop Ball for my son for Christmas. He is a tall five year old, and the ball is the perfect size for him. The quality seems great though a thinner rubber than the "hippity hops" in my day. I'm very happy with my purchase and it arrived so quickly. The ball comes with an adapter for pumping. It would be nice if the ball had a valve in it so that air could not escape while the plug was inserted. Looking forward to many more happy hours of bouncing!

I purchased this for my 6 year old grandson. He just loves it. Inflated it with a tire pump and he just took off with it. It's great for indoors and outdoors. The color is great too! This is a great buy!

We've had a smaller Hop ball for several years. It is still like new, after being used by two children and all of their friends, so when my oldest got too big for the smaller one, we ordered this one. It's great for my 10-year-old daughter, and I can even bounce on it myself. These balls cost more, but they are nothing like the discount store version. They last and last...Great for burning off energy in the winter!

What a great toy! The kids have not stopped playing with these since Christmas morning - best money I ever spent!

This toy is not durable....Bought it for Christmas for my 7 year-old and now the handle is broken after only one month of use...I am disappointed, it did not worth the price.

Not much to say about this product other than it does what it's supposed to: it bounces! One noteworthy feedback on the size: I ordered this one for my 7yr old daughter who is on the small size (47 inches tall) and it's just a tad big for her. She can still bounce and have fun with it, but has to "lean forward" a bit for her feet to reach the ground. On a positive note, this sucker can handle up to 600 lbs, so even Mom and Dad can hop around!
