This deck is straight forward leaving you with very few questions. the instructions are simple and, instead of a tarot deck, the meaning of the card is printed on the card itself. These cards do work and i strongly recomend them to anyone interested in divination.

I have mixed feelings about the Gypsy Witch oracle. The other reviews are very true. Be careful using these cards because they can be very scary in what they say. For example it can say someone will die if next to the card of the dog for example it could refer to your friend. I don't know about you but this scares the hell out of me. The phrases on these cards are very dry and bruttaly honest. Maybe to brutal for some people so be prepared.

Now the reason I like it is because I love the Lenormand cards and these cards are not the original Lenormand but are inspired by the Lenormand card deck. The images and quality of the design I think is very poor but on the plus side the meanings are printed on each card and tells you how the particular card relates to other cards. This is very good especially for the novice who is just learning how to use the Lenormand oracle.

If you purchase this deck take the reading with a grain of salt. If a card says expect someone to die DON'T BELIEVE IT LITERALLY. It might refer to a change or transmutation from one condition to another and not that someone is going to die. If you get nervous about using fortune telling oracle then DON'T get these cards.

I have to say that these cards may be just for fun, to some people, but these cards are not a game. I've had done readings on myself and others, they've turned out to be at least 90% accurate, both good and bad. I highly recommend these cards to people who don't like to beat around he bush and to those who want a straight answer. I don't recommened this product to the delicate because there is a dark side to the deck.

I love these cards. I received my first deck when I was seven, and had no problem with them, so they can certainly be used by beginners. They do have some dark cards, but that is a part of life. They are very accurate and enjoyable to use.

A reviewer mentioned that they were first published in 1903, true, then the reviewer said no tarot deck could claim that. There are tarot decks that are reproductions of decks made in the 15th century such as the Visconti Sforza, and then there are decks like the ever popular Rider Waite (first published in 1909) and Cagliostro Tarot (first published in 1912) so these decks definitely have been around too!

These cards were first published in 1903 and have been around since then - not something any of the age tarot deck available today can claim! Sometimes called GYPSY LENORMAND, these cards are not meant as a game for the curious or novice reader - they are serious fortune telling cards and can reveal an enormous amount of accurate information. Just don't confuse fortune telling with "Love and Light" wanna-be readers who pick up one deck after another but don't want to tell you anything else then that your are on your way to ascension and that the angels love you! This cards deal with the light side of life as well as with the shadow - good and bad is reflected, just as it is in real life! Serious fortune tellers will have to look at these aspects and can not hind behind a romantic and fluffy velvet covered table. If people can not understand that life is not all "love and light" then they will not be able to use these cards - its that simple!

4 stars for the QUALITY of the information that a serious reader can get from these cards! I can not give 5 as I am not 100% keen on the images. The more traditional 36-cards Lenormand deck is still my favorite...

:) I used these cards years ago. Sold them and bought a new pack the other day. (Wished I had never sold them to begin w/, but they were getting old.) Anyway already I am getting interesting results. I find them simple for beginners tho. The layouts are easy as long as the instructions are read throughly. The instructions are much more simple for me than the Rider-Waite deck, plus the explanations are not so scattered. I love my pack and would not give them away for anything. I like the fact that you can get a yes/no resp, something you cannot get w/ the Rider Waite deck (unless there are layouts out there I have not heard of). This deck allows simple quick explanations and not 5 or 6 outcomes that do not make sense or 5 or 6 events that do not even apply to the situation. This deck is really simple and any beginner should be able to pick it up quickly. If I can, anyone can. I highly recommend them. And it takes not time at all to pick up on the images and meanings.

It is so refreshing to find an old deck like this amidst the sea of modern collage tarot decks which seem to be put on the market just to make money. These cards are both simple and complex. They possess a soul of their own. I suspect using these cards can bring about some powerfull changes in ones life.

This is a great little deck (about the same size as playing cards) that is very user friendly and very accurate. Easier to manipulate than larger cards, and excellent for doing reading with many clients!

This deck is useful for those with a background in cartomancy. It has little to nothing in common with tarot and comes from a totally different tradition. Those looking for a new spin on tarot will be disappointed. One can use these well if they already understand divination with standard playing cards. The suggested spreads are limited but have found they can be used in many of the traditional cartomancy spreads. The card meanings are a little simplistic and much more detail could have been given. There are many more card meanings than those suggested and one would do well to use these with some standard cartomancy reference books. To sum up, this is not a good deck for beginners.

I have done quite a few readings with these cards and I can honestly say that they are brutally honest. So far they have predicted breakups, weddings, children, financial wealth, jobs, moves, and more. The people I have done readings for sometimes look at me like as they are unsure, but everyone one who has felt like that has come back and told me that the reading was accurate. I recommend these cards, but they do take a little time to get used too. They are not for beginners.
