THE TRUTH ABOUT AUTHOR BRIAN M.W.
Brian M.W. (born Brian M. Worley, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania) is the author of two ground-breaking novels called, "Psycho-gehenna" ("Mind-Hell") and "H.O.T.E.L." He actually attempted to write his first novel when he was about 10 or 12 years old. He was attending F.S. Edmonds elementary school, in Philadelphia, when he was inspired to write his own novel (which he had entitled F-Zeros) about a group of rogue freedom fighters who used mechanized, robotic, machines to fight a war 100 years after a third world war. He had about three chapters written when his little brother (Darren) stole his incomplete manuscript and took it to school in order to turn it in for a school project. The praise that his younger sibling had gotten for ''his'' work had inspired him instead of infuriating him about its original theft. Brian actually started writing short stories when he was six, and he had won numerous awards for writing essays and such throughout his academic career; however he did not start writing mainstream fiction until he was about nineteen; which was when he completed his first full-length novel called, "Psycho-gehenna." The novel did not actually get published until 12 years later. "Psycho-Gehenna" was actually based on a short story that he had wrote in High School for a Halloween contest. His wandering idea had led to something quite extroidinary in the sense that Brian had not had any formal training in being a novelist at the time, yet, he created a visionary work that seemed to go beyond his years. His first book is still currently for sale.
Brian's second novel, "H.O.T.E.L." was actually based on a nightmare that he had back in 1997. He often had horrific dreams for reasons that were beyond his comprehension, and he decided to put them to good use; so he took what he could remember and then put it to words while twisting what he had seen in order to make it his own. The result would be a well-received book about a demented billionaire who had decided to hunt humans but only after finding them worthy of his attention by surviving a sick game that he played; wherein, he had built a hotel (which in the title is an acronym that means H: HUNT, O: OBSERVE, T: TRACK, E: ELIMINATE, AND L: LEARN). This place was like a human roach trap where people checked in but they wouldn't check out! Brian coined the book as a suspense novel while "Psycho-gehenna" was a horrific, mystery, science-fiction, thriller; he combined all three genres in order to come up with a new form of fiction writing. Brian M.W.'s second novel is also currently for sale:
Brian had a hard life and was almost claimed by the streets when he was fifteen. He was stabbed in the back (literally) by his best friend, and he died three times on the operating table before being brought back. He lived most of his life off and on in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He actually sold drugs as a youth but instead of buying clothes and sneakers he used the money to buy ink and paper and materials that he needed in order to see his writing dreams become a reality. Brian M.W. is a self-described horror and suspense writer who actually changed his pen name from B.M.W. because the car company "BMW AG" threatened to sue him for copyright infringement for trying to publish himself under his own initials, but that is another story. He currently sees himself abiding by this motto: "THERE ARE NO BLACK HORROR WRITERS WHO HAVE REACHED THE STATUS OF PEOPLE LIKE STEPHEN KING, DEAN KOONTZ, OR CLIVE BARKER. I WILL BE THE FIRST! MY IMAGE IS WHO I AM, BUT NOT WHAT I WRITE."
