I have several pairs of this brand including the boots that match these oxfords and I think these are very comfy,stylish and just plain awesome.The fit is true and the insole is very comfy.I like these so much that I even bought an extra pair on sale to have for a spare.The leather and stitching is very good.They look very expensive.

I like the last Trask uses for a range of shoes near this style - it fits my foot better than most others. The shoe itself is reasonably nicely made, or looks like it would be if I didn't receive a pair of seconds, although the obviously rubber sole is a bit to the casual side for my taste.

So why the two stars? The shoes each have what appears to have a pen mark in the same place, leading me to think that they are probably seconds rejected by the Trask factory. They arrived scratched up, and with a broken box because the seller simply put the shoebox in a plastic bag and gave it to the U.S. postal monkeys. They also had a white powder embedded in wear point, suggesting they were tried on and somewhat kicked around in a chalky environment. After brushing, nicks and what appears to be stray glue can be found -- probably why these were marked as seconds at the factory. Unfortunately, the seller then evidently fraudulently sold them as though new on Amazon.
