Shoe fits to size, is stylish. Heal is a bit high and rubs a bit; not as comfortable as other Trask shoes I have purchased in the past.

The H S Trask Guide is a great shoe for everyday wear and all day comfort. The leather and craftsmanship are nothing less than quality. It's sleek style and design are traditional yet modern without looking too "trendy". The style is very similar to some trail shoes I have owned in the past however, these won't be seeing any muddy trails until they get some quality time on more civilized surfaces. This is only due to the leather wrapping the split soles. This detail is a nice touch but, a bit limiting if you want to keep them looking their best. No complaints, Love these shoes. (Sunglow color is a great light brown)

Glad that I bought this for a casual wear. However, be reminded that it can be worn only in dry places. Given the amount of precipitations we receive in my place makes it obsolete. It has a leather sole with rubber studded in few critical positions. But hell, I love this pair of Trask.
