Very nice looking. I am used to a round toe, but this moc toe look is coming back so this will be right in style. Sole is like a driving shoe, so there is not a one piece bottom. It looks very sharp and I called the company and was told the leather is treated and waterproof on the bottom. Still, I don't think this is the boot for a new storm... I would rather wear it on dry days in hard pack or on pavement. Again, the leather is really beautiful. The boot seems very well made.
I bought the brown and the black, and although the black does not show as much leather graining, it is still a pretty cool looking boot.
I wear an 8 1/2 shoe and took this in a 9 and I am happy. There is room for a thicker sock, or an custom insole is you wear one.

Not what I expected. Yes, good for driving, but that's it. Slick, leather bottoms make all other activities problematic. Don't dare walk in damp environs! They ought to last a lifetime if used for driving only...only months if worn for other activities. First disappointment in 12 years of buying Trask shoes.
