Very nice looking. I am used to a round toe, but this moc toe look is coming back so this will be right in style. Sole is like a driving shoe, so there is not a one piece bottom. It looks very sharp and I called the company and was told the leather is treated and waterproof on the bottom. Still, I don't think this is the boot for a new storm... I would rather wear it on dry days in hard pack or on pavement. Again, the leather is really beautiful. The boot seems very well made.I bought the brown and the black, and although the black does not show as much leather graining, it is still a pretty cool looking boot. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe and took this in a 9 and I am happy. There is room for a thicker sock, or an custom insole is you wear one.

Not what I expected. Yes, good for driving, but that's it. Slick, leather bottoms make all other activities problematic. Don't dare walk in damp environs! They ought to last a lifetime if used for driving only...only months if worn for other activities. First disappointment in 12 years of buying Trask shoes.
