Unique but shortlived,

This review is from: H. N. Werkman (Monographics) (Paperback)
I first discovered Werkman when I was in Amsterdam, and went to the Van Gogh museum. I work as a designer and editor, so I guess Werkman's background and use of the printing press appealed to me. Unfortunately, most of his work was destroyed by the Nazis, but this book is a great catalogue of what survived. This book gives you a glimpse of the artist's life, and how his art developed through his short career. But I mainly bought it for the art, and was very happy.
