Directions
Wash your tattoo thoroughly with Blue Green Foam Soap and warm water 3 to 4 times per day. Use your fingers with medium pressure during your washes to help remove any dried secretions in the pores of your skin. Washing with warm water opens the derma pores and gives your skin a deep clean to prevent scabs from forming. Squeeze a small amount of Ocean Care on your fingertips. Gently apply a thin layer of Ocean Care on your tattoo until completely absorbed into the skin 3 to 5 times a day. Continue to use Ocean Care for the life of your tattoo to keep your skin moisturized and your tattoo looking NEW

Between my husband and myself we have tried almost every tattoo aftercare product on the market. This is by far the best product I have ever used. I have dry skin so the cream is best for me, but foam works best for oily skin types. The lotion works great on either small or large pieces (I have both) and has definitely helped mine to heal quicker then when I have used other aftercare products. It is definitely a good investment for any new tattoo.

Everybody with a tattoo or two has an opinion on what to put on them. I was a big A&D ointment guy until I discovered this stuff. It keeps your new tattoo moist, but it soaks in quickly and won't stain your clothes or sheets like greasy stuff. I prefer the cream to the foam, because you can put it on as soon as the "oozing" stops. It feels good, no stinging. I use it 4-5 times a day until the peeling starts, then I just use it as needed for itching. It costs more than regular lotion, but you can tell the difference. It feels cleaner. You can always switch to regular lotion after you heal, but give H2Ocean a try. I think you'll like it.

I really like this stuff. The foam is good for a week after or so. But this I like for the first week of the tattoo healing. I used Aquaphor and A&D before, cheaper alternatives. They work great but are greasy, and everything sticks to it. H2Ocean cream is nice because it is not sticky or greasy feeling - it feels cleaner than the greasy stuff, and is easier to wash off. I have a dog and cat and other creams seem to attract hair, but not H2Ocean cream. The only reason I give it 4 stars, I wish it would moisturize more, I feel like I need to apply it more than the Aquaphor. But I think that's price to pay for a good non greasy cream. And you should be cleaning your tattoo and reapplying cream at least 3 times a day anyway.
Other reviews commented on the smell and it making their tattoo look bad. The smell issue I don't understand. Smelling it from in the bottle, there is a light lotion type smell, not strong or bad. And I have it on my arm right now and can't smell anything. Making the tattoo look bad I don't get either. Maybe because it's not greasy so it doesn't make it look shinny. And because of it being non-greasy, you have to apply more often. I assume the reviewer that used this and the tattoo didn't heal properly, didn't use it often enough. Anyone can feel your skin and tell if it's dry. That's what you need to avoid when the tattoo is healing. I just got a sleeve tattoo on my arm 3 days ago. And I use it 3 times a day after washing, maybe 4 (because I'll apply a little more if it's itchy). - And it stays well moisturized.

I have always been a big fan of H2Ocean products. The tattoos cream works very well. It seems to heal quicker and it helps fight the itching.

I have multiple tattoos and first used H2Ocean after getting a partial sleeve on my arm. I was very impressed with how this product worked. Never really had much of a problem with scabbing, but when I started on my sleeve had some issues. After using this product after the first session never had another problem again. After using lotion the first few tattoos I like how this rubs in and doesn't feel goopy. Just stays moist and heals perfect.

I have used almost every aftercare product you can think of, from A&D to Black Cat, and this is by far the best I have found. No sting, not greasy or oily, and it seems to have cut down the healing time, to next to nothing. I highly recommend this product to anyone with a new tattoo.

I currently have 6 tattoos, two large ones on my back, one on my hip, one medium sized one on my arm and two smaller ones on my wrists. The large one on my back (my first tattoo) I did not apply anything to, which I regret. It's a beautiful piece of artwork, and the colors have faded much faster than they should have. *Just a warning for those who are wanting their first tattoo.

For my second I used A & D ointment, mostly because it was cheap and available. I HATE the feeling of putting this on, because quite frankly a new tattoo is tender and you really have to rub the ointment on. Next tattoo, I used Vaseline, with the same texture as A & D ointment. Mind you, this tattoo is just above my elbow, and got over ALL my clothing. Next tattoo, it was Lubraderm lotion. I don't know about you all, but putting that lotion on a new tattoo (with fresh wounds) STINGS LIKE HECK.

Finally, and thankfully, I was recommended H20cean. What an amazing relief. I had no pain when I first applied it to the tattoo on my left wrist, as well as the one on my hip. Both of these tattoos are my only colored tattoos, and this lotion preserved the colors and made them pop. It isn't messy, and I had no problem rubbing it in when the tattoo was new or scabbing. They are a bit more expensive at tattoo shops, so I suggest purchasing it here before you go and get your tattoo.

I have heard that some people have problems with stinging, but like I said before, I had problems with other lotions, and this one was gentle on my new artwork.
