These are wonderful table top size blocks that will allow children and adults to have fun creating various sacred spaces and small villages. Not for very small children because of the potential choking hazard.

As an adult, I like to have a set of blocks like this on a table- with an open invitation to any of my guests to create something with them. Then with their permission, I take a picture of their creation... which becomes part of an ongoing household exhibit of what has been created with the blocks.

Watch the pricing on these blocks and do some research on them- so you don't pay too much. I paid $26.95 for them on 12/24/08 on Amazon.

Great blocks that are different from the typical square ones! My daughters took to them immediately, building lots of different things. Love the natural color of the wood too. Says on the packaging for children 5+ over, but also good for the over three kids. It comes with 50 pieces, and I will tell you that they are pretty small (especially for the price). We thought they would be made in Germany, but it says that they were "Made in China" on the box. Overall, the blocks are small compared to the "average" American sets, but a good product for creative play.

Bought these to match up with a block set to add some unique shapes and elements. They are really too small on their own to match with a standard block set - they look out of place. And frankly they are a bit expensive for a little bit of wood.

My five year old daughter received these for Christmas and is having a blast building castles with them. They are smaller than we expected them to be, but still fun. An Iranian friend who is also an architect was very impressed by these blocks and said they represented authentic architecture from his country.

i purchased several Haba blocks sets for my seven year old who really likes to build. Haba blocks are absolutely great!!!!! my son creats different buildings and that keeps him busy for hours. I have tried to find something like that before in stores here in NC but all you can find are LEGO which my son does not like. Thanks Haba for this exceptional product and thanks Amazon for selling this brand.

How wonderful to find a toy that is well made, fun, and quite unique - I haven't found anything else like this out there. Like all Haba toys this is a well thought out set, and allows for creativity and growth over an extended period: I fully expect my son to continue to play with this for years to come.
