This was an interesting book that contains some great chapters and some, frankly, bad chapters. The best chapters are written by Bev Harris and are backed by documents and published articles. Other chapters are full of opinion, extremism, and incorrect information (which takes away from the overall credibility of the book).

One thing that was not clear, was whether the problems and failures with electronic voting were caused by deliberate and purposeful hacking or just lack of correct procedure, poor equipment and shoddy, inept programming. I really wanted this book to pin it down... it started to but didn't make a case.

This book exposes the trurh about how we have lost control of our election process in this country- a truth that MOST Americans dont want to believe could ever happen here. The enormous ramifications of electronic voting theft reach far beyond any voting manipulation known previously just by virtue of the ease of accessability and the sheer numbers available with the remote click of a button. If ever there was a cause for citizens to take to the streets, it is now, or you can say goodbye to what we think of as Democracy in the United States.

Having heard Lou Dobbs talk about how insecure electronic voting is in the United States, I feel much more informed about the issue after reading "Hacked." It's an easy, convenient read for those of us who don't have the time to read all the lengthy studies on the issue. I just hope we can get back to hand counted paper ballots like the majority of other industrialized countries. Reading"Hacked" really has made me want to do something about this huge problem!

I couldn't put Hacked down. After reading it I no longer have any doubts that the voting machines must go. It was so clearly laid out by the experts that I will make sure every one I know reads this book. It's frightening what is happening to our elections!

This book is a must read for any person registered to vote in the United States. It exposes the frightening truth about how easy it is to hack into and manipulate the machines we use to cast our votes in major elections. It needs to be taken VERY, VERY seriously.

This book sure opened my eyes to the facts about electronic voting fraud and how easy it is for ANYONE (even a chimpanzee!) to hack the software and steal an election. How scary is that! The editors of and contributors to this book have done their homework on probably one of the biggest threats ever to our democracy. Don't invest your money in electronic voting vendors because this book is sure to change minds about ever being able to trust electronic voting.

Any voting system that is not open and transparent is un-American; it can be rigged to throw elections. Machines that register and tabulate votes secretly are un-American; they are not open and transparent. Anyone who believes that politicans and their employees can always be trusted to conduct honest and accurate elections is just plain stupid. Hand-counted paper ballots that are tabulated in a manner that can be monitored by concerned citizens beat the bejeepers out of invisible electronic votes.

Every American voter should read this disturbing book. "HACKED! High Tech Election Theft in America" is literally a weapon against the clandestine overthrow of American government at all levels.
